The Job

As Senior People Partner at Milence, you will be instrumental in driving the growth and scaling of our teams while advocating our unique company culture. Working closely with senior leadership and department heads, you will lead strategic HR initiatives to build a high-performing and engaged workforce. Your role will also involve implementing the Milence approach to performance development, enhancing team dynamics, and fostering leadership development.

Your key responsibilities are;

  • Playing a key role in driving organizational growth and success through strategic HR initiatives.
  • Be a sparring partner for leaders, providing regular coaching and advice on their development and leadership skills.
  • Roll out and implement the Milence approach to performance development, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development planning. Ensure the process contributes to building a high-performance culture at Milence.
  • Actively work with leaders on team dynamics and effectiveness. Provide coaching and support to develop leaders and their direct reports. Continuously improve the effectiveness and team dynamics of department leadership teams.
  • Leaders with the preparation of high quality coaching discussions with their team members, ensuring retention & development of talent within Milence
  • Building manager & team capability in working with the Milence OKR framework, linking individual contributions to department & company OKR’s
  • Embeding our Milence values and culture building efforts in departments. Fostering a culture of recognition & encouraging leaders to use all available tools.
  • Preparing and facilitating team-building workshops and sessions as needed to enhance team dynamics and effectiveness.
  • Being an integral part of the department leadership team, attending (selected) department meetings and serving as a representative towards the People Team on all people related topics
  • Utilizing HR data and analysis to track key metrics, identify trends, and make data driven decision. Prepare regular reports and presentations for leaders to communicate HR insights and progress towards strategic objectives.

The job will be based in our Arnhem office.

Job requirements

Who are we looking for?

  • You have between 5-10 years experience in a strategic HR business partnering and leadership development
  • You have at least 5 years working experience in the Netherlands with a strong understanding of Dutch employment law & industrial relations landscape
  • You have a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar field
  • You have experience working in a fast-paced dynamic company in high tech, IT or engineering industries
  • You have a strong understanding of performance development processes, team dynamics and leadership principles.
  • You are proficient in HR analytics and reporting tools
  • You bring excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to align leadership teams and influence for progress.
  • You have excellent coaching and communication skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • You are a strategic thinker who is hands-on with the ability to translate business strategy & people challenges into progressive people projects and interventions
  • You have a good understanding of the many disciplines within HR, including diversity and inclusion, performance management, reward, talent management, employee and workers council relations.
  • Your English is excellent and another European language is preferable
