While our Dutch offices are in Amsterdam and Arnhem, our focus is distinctly pan-European and we are expanding to several other European countries in early 2023.
The Marketing & Data department concentrates on service- and product development for electric long haul trucking and include the complete Marketing Mix (Market Intelligence, Product Development, Charging Services, Pricing) and Data Services. Based on both a data approach and interaction with clients, our aim is to develop the products and services, which are 2 years ahead of market needs and result in a hassle free customer experience.
These products and services will at first focus on the driver and fleet owner experience. In due time products and services will be developed and provided for other stakeholders.
The department consist of 3 focus areas: Customer Journey and Market, Products and Services and Data. Products range from planning the network of charge locations, provide up to date charger information for navigation purposes, services for fleet owner in combination with their Fleet Management Services, etc.
The Marketing & Data team consists of product owners, marketers, managers customer journey, data scientists and data analysts.
As product owner Network Planning Tool you will be responsible for the development and the commercial success of our Network Planning Tool. The Network Planning Tool is the tool we use to determine where we want to grow our charging network. The tool is used by the location scouts to evaluate the attractiveness of specific locations.
Based on data from the data-team and input from our growth team, you set the requirements and the commercial offering for a product or service. During the life-time of the network planning tool, you are responsible for its success, and propose improvements or alternatives.
As product owner you will steer the development teams and guard that the right product is developed.
Your responsibilities include;
- Developing and improving the network planning tool
- Understand the needs of our growth department.
- Release management
- Determine together with the data-team (scientists and engineers) how the network planning tool needs to be improved.
- Managing the IT/data-team who deliver (parts) of the product
- Create roadmaps
- Create business cases/ investment plans for the proposed product development
- Monitoring the success of a product, both commercially and quality
- Improve and maintain released products and services
- Managing stakeholders, like location scouts.
As a product owner network planning tool you will closely work together with the marketers, location scouts and other product owners and the IT department.
Since we are an exciting new start-up, not all responsibilities have been defined yet, meaning you have the opportunity to help us shape your position further.
The job will be based in our Amsterdam and/or Arnhem office. You will be required to travel within Europe a few days per month for the role to be successful.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for candidates with product owner/ product manager experience in the area of developing data-driven customer centric innovative products and services. In the past you were end-to-end responsible for a product, starting from development until end-of lifetime.
You have commercial business development experience and can identify interesting opportunities.
You can convert opportunities into strategy, improvements or innovations which contribute to better business performance.
You have strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve to well-judged decisions.
You communicate effectively and collaborate well with internal- and external stakeholders.
You have an affinity with the logistics and transport industry and/or navigation industry.
Your English is excellent (and if you do not speak Dutch that is fine).

Base salary level (all in) is oriented towards 70.000 EUR; on target annual incentive is 20% - with a maximum of 40%.
