Job description

As Product Manager - Charging Site Energy Infrastructure and Services, you will be responsible for all power-related infrastructure across all European electric truck charging sites. This includes grid connections, design of internal electricity/power ecosystems, on-site batteries, and potentially connections to wind/solar power (e.g., connecting to a local wind park, either existing or from scratch solution). You are responsible to define the requirements and criteria to design and offer the best Rest-and-Recharge experience. You will also develop energy and flexibility services for our customers, such as charging plaza or grid services. And although this is not a technical job, you will join conversations about technology and design choices, such as transitioning to DC microgrids.

In this role, you will be part of a team of eight Product Managers, each managing their own portfolio. You will report directly to the Head of Product.

You will be responsible for:

  • Translating market insights, market needs, and customer feedback into new products or product changes related to site energy infrastructure.
  • Developing and innovating the Site Energy Infrastructure and Services portfolio, including creating visionary roadmaps and a long-term strategy.
  • Ensuring the right products are delivered according to planning and continuously update prioritization within your products and roadmaps.
  • Embedding the newly developed products and/or services into the Milence organization.
  • Creating the value proposition (pricing, positioning, customer segmentation) and coordinating the creation and execution of the go-to-market strategy.
  • Managing product/service changes internally and externally with customers and partners.
  • Creating alternative scenarios for product delivery, considering risk mitigation and management to ensure delivery.
  • Supporting the commercial team with the promotion of the latest innovations by providing briefings and marketing materials.

What we are looking for:

  • 7+ years of B2B product development experience, with experience as a product manager in the energy infrastructure domain, or similar.
  • Degree in energy, business administration, economics, technology, or a related field, or equivalent working experience.
  • Experience in managing hardware and software product development projects with a focus on customer experience in an international B2B company.
  • Industry experience in power components/energy systems and commercial energy services, ideally at companies that work for/in Utilities.
  • Experience or knowledge of the logistics sector is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English; another European language is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with strategic thinking and a strong outside-in focus.
  • Customer-focused with strong commercial acumen.
  • Creative with demonstrable successes in an ambiguous environment.
  • Alignment with Milence’s mission and values: reliable, sustainable, approachable, progressive, and fast-paced.
  • Energetic, positive thinker, and able to easily engage others.

What we offer:

  • The opportunity to join us at the unique scaling phase of a new company with a real purpose, high aspirations, and strong team spirit.
  • Flexible (hybrid) working arrangements.
  • A competitive salary and a company-based performance incentive.
  • Unlimited holidays.
  • Pension.
  • A one-time budget to set up your home office.
  • A monthly phone allowance.
  • A first-class NS Business Card (for public transport use).
