Job description

As Product Manager - Charging Site Design & Facilities, you will act as a sort of architect, designing optimal site layouts for our electric truck charging sites across Europe to ensure the best rest and recharge experience. You will focus on optimizing the entire physical customer journey on-site, including but definitely not limited to signage, road turn circles, benches, lighting, and greenery. Ensuring uniformity across all sites in Europe, you will have significant interactions with other portfolios. You will represent the customer and commercial perspective in designing and blueprinting future sites.


In this role, you will be part of a team of eight Product Managers, each managing their own portfolio. You will report directly to the Head of Product.


You will be responsible for:

  • Translating market insights, market needs, and customer feedback into new products or product changes related to site design.
  • Developing and innovating the Site Design portfolio, including creating visionary roadmaps and a long-term strategy.
  • Ensuring the right products are delivered according to planning and continuously update prioritization within your products and roadmaps.
  • Embedding the newly developed products and/or services into the Milence organization.
  • Creating the value proposition (pricing, positioning, customer segmentation) and coordinating the creation and execution of the go-to-market strategy.
  • Managing product/service changes internally and externally with customers and partners.
  • Creating alternative scenarios for product delivery, considering risk mitigation and management to ensure delivery.
  • Supporting the commercial team with the promotion of the latest innovations by providing briefings and marketing materials.


What we are looking for:

  • 7+ years of B2B/B2C product development experience, with experience as a product manager for on-site location(s) (design), such as setting up outdoor locations, such as charging sites, roll-out of multiple physical stores, parking garages, restaurants, etc.
  • Degree in marketing, business administration, economics, technology, or a related field, or equivalent working experience.
  • Experience in managing hardware and software product development projects with a focus on customer experience in an international B2B company.
  • Experience or knowledge of the logistics sector is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English; another European language is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with strategic thinking and a strong outside-in focus.
  • Customer-focused with strong commercial acumen.
  • Creative with demonstrable successes in an ambiguous environment.
