Product Manager - Charging Site Access Control & Security

As Product Manager - Charging Site Access Control & Security, you will be responsible for everything related to access to the electric truck charging sites in all European countries Milence is active in, including security. You will be at the forefront of researching and implementing hardware and software solutions such as license plate recognition, driver kiosks, Bluetooth/GPS solutions, barriers, fencing, CCTV, and monitoring. Additionally, you will collaborate with the NOC (Network Operations Center) team to select and create products and services that enable effective monitoring and control. Your role will also encompass managing access control to locations and on-site facilities (e.g., charging bays, amenities like showers, toilets, and restaurant facilities) while ensuring optimal security measures are in place.

In this role, you will be part of a team of seven Product Managers, each managing their own portfolio. You will report directly to the Head of Product.

You will be responsible for:

• Translating market insights, market needs, and customer feedback into new products or product changes related to access and security.
• Developing and innovating the Access & Security portfolio, including creating visionary roadmaps and a long-term strategy.
• Ensuring the right products are delivered according to planning and continuously update prioritization within your products and roadmaps.
• Embedding the newly developed products and/or services into the Milence organization.
• Creating the value proposition (pricing, positioning, customer segmentation) and coordinating the creation and execution of the go-to-market strategy.
• Managing product/service changes internally and externally with customers and partners.
• Creating alternative scenarios for product delivery, considering risk mitigation and management to ensure delivery.
• Supporting the commercial team with the promotion of the latest innovations by providing briefings and marketing materials.

What we are looking for:

• 7+ years of B2B product fields experience, with experience as a product manager experience in the security industry for physical/outdoor sites or location, or experience in the access control industry, or alike.
• Degree in security, business administration, economics, technology, or a related field, or equivalent working experience.
• Experience in managing hardware and software product development projects with a focus on customer experience in an international B2B company.
• Experience or knowledge of the logistics sector is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English; another European language is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills combined with strategic thinking and a strong outside-in focus.
• Customer-focused with strong commercial acumen.
• Creative with demonstrable successes in an ambiguous environment.
