The Job

As Product Manager Charging Technology and Energy infrastructure, you are responsible for the development and management of the portfolio. You will ensure that the portfolio will contribute to Milence building the right network, delivering the right charging experience and leading the transformation to zero-emission heavy-duty vehicles. The Product Manager Charging Technology and Energy infrastructure reports to the Head of Product, working closely with Milence teams across digital factory, data, technology & asset management, through an agile way of working to facilitate quick innovation & product development. You will also work closely with Sales, Marketing & Energy teams in defining & implementing the pricing strategy and gathering market needs.


The portfolio's focus is about having the right, seamless, charging solution available for the different type of charging needs at our locations. You make sure that charging connectors and power levels of our charging solutions meet market demand and the charging capabilities of all heavy-duty vehicles. Furthermore, you make sure solutions are in place for efficient, scalable and safe power and energy distribution and sourcing, and you develop the additional services to create additional business value from this flexible energy infrastructure.


As Product Manager you will create the value proposition, the multi-year roadmap, the pricing strategy and product positioning and you will be responsible for product launches. You will deeply understand our customer needs, markets trends and company objectives and then translate these into visionary, market leading value propositions and products.


You will take full responsibility from the ideation phase to delivery of the portfolio and its products by;

  • Translating market insights, market needs and customer feedback into new products or product changes
  • Developing and innovating the Charging Technology and Energy infrastructure portfolio and its different products and services, including creating visionary roadmaps, a long-term strategy and deliver according to plan through a structured product and services backlog;
  • Ensuring the right products are in and delivered according to planning and continuously update prioritization within your products and roadmaps.
  • Embedding the new developed products and/ or service into the Milence organisation.
  • Creating the value proposition (pricing, positioning, customer segmentation) and coordinate the creation and execution of the go to market strategy;
  • Managing product/ services changes internally and externally with customers and partners.
  • Creating alternative scenarios for product delivery, considering risk mitigation & management to ensure delivery
  • Supporting the commercial team with the promotion of the latest innovations by providing briefings and or marketing materials.

Job requirements

What we are looking for

  • Strong previous B2B product fields experience, with experience as a product manager within logistics, heavy duty transport, construction, EV Charging, parking services, planning systems, map service companies, routing systems or similar.
  • Extensive experience in DC charging.
  • You have a Degree in marketing, business administration, economics, technology or similar.
  • You are experienced in managing hardware and software product development projects with a focus on the customer experience in an international B2B company.
  • You will bring knowledge of site energy infrastructure and services including power components & energy systems, commercial energy services, companies that work with Utility companies.
  • Experience or knowledge of the logistics sector is advantageous.
  • You have strong communication skills and are fluent in English, another European language is advantageous.
  • You possess strong analytical skills combined with strategic thinking and strong outside-in focus.
  • You are customer focused with strong commercial acumen.
  • You are creative and have demonstrable successes within an ambiguous environment.
