Department - Reliability

Reliability is the cornerstone of accelerating the shift to electric transportation. Only by being extremely reliable can we guarantee seamless charging at Milence. Our Technology specialists focus on R&D, charging, energy storage, and (cyber)security. The Digital Factory is responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of digital products and services, ensuring their alignment with the latest technological advancements. Our Data experts ensure data quality, governance, insights, analytics and reporting. They facilitate charging sessions, network planning, and real-time reservations. Our Network Operations Centre (NOC) is the central hub of on-site operations, monitoring site activity and maintenance. Our Operations team establishes and runs our service partner network for operational works on our charging hubs. Asset Management, supported by site engineers, is responsible for pro-active maintenance and investment decisions. They manage the assets of charging infrastructure, security solutions, power distribution, and facilities. The collaboration among our teams fosters cross-functional synergy, ensuring we provide the best rest and recharge experience.


As a Network Operations Centre (NOC) Operator, you will report to the NOC Manager and be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operations of our Network Operating Centre. Your role is crucial to maintaining the smooth operation of our charging sites and ensuring customer satisfaction.


As NOC-Operator you will:

  • Monitor all systems to oversee the reliability and availability of Milence charging hubs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance NOC efficiency and reliability.
  • Proactively detect and communicate with customers, troubleshooting issues that arise at Milence Charging hubs.
  • Ensure protocols are followed during emergencies, incidents, maintenance works, and facility operations.
  • Monitor network performance and use tools to detect and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities


Job requirements

Who are we looking for?

  • Educational background in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong experience in a technical customer operations environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose, investigate, and resolve various technical issues related to customer experience.
  • Preferred experience with EVs and technical background.
  • Good technical acumen and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Customer-focused with proficiency in using network monitoring tools.
  • Analytical, strong in reporting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; any additional European language is advantageous.

Location:

  • Full-time position based in our Arnhem office.
  • Occasional shift work during evenings and weekends to support our 24/7 service.
