Job description

As a (Interim) Compliance Officer, you will monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies. You will enhance existing compliance processes, working closely with various departments across the organisation such as procurement, information security and finance.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Fostering an ethical business culture by ensuring business process are in compliance with applicable laws such as: anti-bribery & corruption, modern slavery, anti-money laundering and competition regulations;
  • Managing and enhancing the third party due diligence process;
  • Maintaining company-wide regulatory and operational requirements;
  • Developing a compliance monitoring program;
  • Analysing compliance cases and providing balanced recommendations;
  • Working closely with other second-line teams within the organisation to ensure processes are efficient in mitigating risk.


Job requirements

Who are we looking for?

You have previous working experience as an interim Compliance Officer, gained through a professional services firm or an international company.

You are already registered as an independent ZZP contractor. 

You have strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve and provide balanced recommendations.

You communicate effectively and collaborate well with internal and external stakeholders.

Your verbal and written English is excellent (bonus if you speak another European language!).

Preferably, you have experience in one of the following industries: Construction, Telecommunications, Energy, IT.

You are self-starter, able to take initiative and work independently.

You have an affinity with the renewable energy sector/e-mobility.
