The department

Our Board support encompasses strategic decision-making, financial oversight, governance, risk management, and ensures alignment with the organisation's mission and goals. Our team plays a crucial role in providing direction, expertise, and accountability to the leadership team, ultimately contributing to the overall success and effectiveness of the organization.


The job

The Executive Assistant will support a segment of our Leadership Team, including the Chief Commerical Officer and Chief Reliability Officer. This role involves managing their day-to-day business activities and meetings.

You will be a confident team player who collaborates with our Leadership Team members in order for them to be effective and give the best guidance to their own teams.


Some of your daily responsibilities will be:

  • You'll be managing agendas, making travel arrangements, and expense accounts while providing day-to-day support for our C-level, with a focus on helping them achieve their goals.
  • The focus is on C-level support, not a secretary function for the team. You will be an enabler for the C-level executives, empowering them to achieve their goals.
  • Organizing and documenting (internal) meetings for the Executives, including minute-taking and ensuring follow-up on action points. Ensuring timely delivery of documents for the meeting platforms where Executives participate.
  • Tackling administrative tasks from the perspective of each C-level; overseeing work processes, and fostering team communication.

Since our Dutch offices are in Amsterdam and Arnhem, and our Executive team works from both places, you will also be supporting them from these offices on a regular basis.

Job requirements

Who are we looking for?

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a supporting position, where you have worked with top-level management in a highly dynamic company.
  • You are a proficient user of the MS Office package.
  • You have a flexible attitude, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and are a natural when it comes to connecting with others, in both formal and informal settings.
  • Your English and Dutch are excellent; any additional European languages are advantageous.
  • You underline our mission and embody our values (reliable, sustainable, approachable, progressive and fast-paced). You enjoy learning new things.
  • You radiate energy, are a positive thinker and easily connect with others in informal ways.
