The Department
The Operations Department is responsible for a timely and effective network roll-out and the performance of Milence's charging infrastructure across Europe. The key to this roll-out is ensuring a safe, secure, and reliable way of working and standardized roll-out procedures with selected partners in each country.
In addition, operations must ensure timely permits, procurement of contracted goods and services, necessary grid connections and sustainable energy.
Operations are also responsible for ‘uptime’, as well for the Network Operating Centre; this includes a customer contact centre and the management and maintenance of all civil and electrical engineering assets required to operate the charging infrastructure, as well as other assets such as security solutions, power distribution, washroom facilities and Wi-Fi access.
Job requirements
The Job
As the Electrical Safety Manager, you will be responsible for the safety policy, the safe work practices and the maintenance program for our electrical assets throughout Europe. Furthermore, you will define all corrective measures regarding the electrical assets when safety is at risk.
In addition, your responsibilities will also be to define and implement the following policies:
- access to the electrical assets;
- training for maintenance and operational personnel for electrical assets;
- Contractor requirements.
You will be giving advice regarding complex low and high voltage questions, carry out inspections as well as internal and external audits.
You will be part of the consignment service (24/7) of Milence, for emergency purposes.
The job will be based in our Amsterdam and/or Arnhem office in the Netherlands. The Electrical assets and charging sites are located across Europe.
Who are we looking for?
You have a minimum of 10 years’ international experience of operations and maintenance of electrotechnical assets.
You hold a Master’s degree in Electric engineering or related studies.
You have a valid certification in Electrical Asset Management for low and high voltage or equivalent.
You have a good knowledge of relevant Law and Legislation and Industry Standards in Europe.
Experience with Chargers regarding EV-mobility would be beneficial.
Your English is excellent (and if you do not speak Dutch that is fine).

The base salary level (all in) is oriented towards 80.000 EUR; The on target annual incentive is 20% - with a maximum of 40%.
