While our HQ is in Amsterdam, our focus is distinctly pan-European and we will be expanding to several other European countries in early 2023.
The Growth department is responsible for the acquisition and contracting of locations, partnerships and customers, and responsible for representing Milence by Public Affairs.
The Milence charging location network is a dynamic map of the best locations for charging sites in Europe. The development of this network, the selection, negotiation and contracting of each Milence site will be done by the Growth department after which the development, deployment and operation of the site will be done by the Operations department.
Strategic partnerships are cooperation with other companies who add more than just a product, service or financing. Strategic Partners are companies who strategically join forces with Milence, and co-invest in our network or technology. The Growth department is responsible for the selection and contracting of Strategic Partnerships.
The Customer Relationship & Sales area is responsible for identifying commercial opportunities, creating commercial offerings and finally getting contracts with clients while building and maintaining relationships.
Public Affairs works on government relations and various standardization bodies to influence public policy, build strong reputation and find common ground with stakeholders.
As Customer Relationships and Sales Manager Southern Europe, you will realize MILENCE’s commercial targets in the short and long term for all of the Southern EU market of MILENCE (France, Spain, Portugal, Italy). This includes development of sales material, business models, creating offers and closing sales deals.
You will develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers and will actively promote and realized sales targets for our propositions.
You will create deep customer understandings and insights and together with colleagues from the department translate these into new propositions and improvements of existing propositions.
You will report to the Head of Customer Relationship and Sales.
Since we are an exciting new start-up, not all responsibilities have been defined yet, meaning you have the opportunity to help us shape your position further.
The job will be formally based in France and hybrid working is foreseen. Travel is required within this role to ensure its success.

We would like to recruit someone with at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
Preferably you have worked in the area of heavy duty vehicles or in the freight transport sector for the European market .
The ideal candidate brings a network of companies who could be interested in switching to electric trucking or sustainable transport.
Your English and French are excellent.

Base salary level (all in) is oriented towards 65.000 EUR; on target annual incentive is 30% - with a maximum of 60%. A comprehensive benefit package including pension, disability and healthcare provisions is included.
