The Information Technology Team is responsible for the end-to-end support and development of all digital products and services needed to achieve our mission and support our clients and colleagues in the best way possible.
Our stack is Azure based and hosted and we’re ramping up from a near greenfield situation.
In the IT Engineering team, we’re looking to quickly set up a scalable and resilient set of services, such as real-time reservations, serving either internal or external clients. The Data Platform team works on setting up the data infrastructure and data pipelines, working with fantastic datasets to facilitate and monitor charging sessions, network location planning, route optimization and smart charging. Both teams will work and collaborate closely and use common state-of-the-art DevSecOps best practices and processes.
As a Cloud Engineer, you will design, deploy, and manage our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with engineering teams to understand the products and services they’re building and will advise and support them by setting up and managing the development, acceptance, and production environments. You will propose and implement measures to ensure the high availability of the systems created and operated by the department.
You will help troubleshoot and resolve issues in our environment infrastructure. You will automate processes that can be automated, for increased efficiency and reliability. You will be promoting the implementation of DevOps best practices for performance and security. We will be working in multidisciplinary teams.
Since we are an exciting new start-up, not all responsibilities have been defined yet, meaning you have the opportunity to help us shape your position and engineering processes further. You can make visible contributions to our digital landscape.
The job will be based in our Amsterdam and/or Arnhem office.
Who are we looking for?
You have proven experience in setting up and managing robust cloud infrastructure, using Azure. This includes setting up and managing landing zones, provisioning cloud resources, IAM, scalability and budget advisory.
You are proficient with at least one major scripting language and are not afraid of the command line.
You have experience with:
- Service orchestration and containerization.
- Observability, monitoring, and logging tools is preferred.
- Infrastructure as code is welcome.
- Event-driven, asynchronous microservices is welcome.
- Data stores and large-scale data processing platforms is a plus.
Quality and security is important to you, but you’re not afraid of making mistakes.
Your English is excellent (and if you do not speak Dutch that is fine).

The base salary level (all in) is oriented towards 70.000 EUR; The on target annual incentive is 20% - with a maximum of 40%.
